The ITDA Group Difference!

Our Training style and Philosophy are unique to ITDA Group...  See also: ITDA Benefits

Training Style

Our Training Style is to adopt an holistic approach to diver training, covering more theory, and incorporating more training dives with more skills and including: Basic Rescue and CPR training...

Giving the ITDA Group Diver more actual skills development and a more total diving experience.

We believe that all divers should be given a basic understanding of Decompression Theory, of course this can be done in a fun and non-threatening way...

We make ITDA Group Diver Training more practical and more challenging, and ultimately therefore more rewarding...

Agency Comparisons

There are many different training agencies available today for learning to dive and for Experienced divers to continue their education and adventure...

Be very careful when considering choosing a training agency, as they may all seem to offer similar options but many of them are fast track and may not offer a complete diving education and experience.

The choices and information can be overwhelming. From the Big Agencies, like the United States Giant - PADI.

See our: PADI & CMAS Compare Table

PADI "Professional Association of Diving Instructors", operating Worldwide, who offer a range of courses from beginner to Professional and fast track certifications.

See: PADI Training programs comparison page

SSI - Scuba Schools International. Was a USA Business, but now owned and operated from Germany in Europe, good training system and good standards.

NAUI - National Association of Underwater Instructors. A Not for profit organisation, with good standards, and good training programs.

CMAS - "World Underwater Federation", A French body, with very high standards and good training programs, with a star system.

BSAC - British Sub Aqua Club. A very good training and certification body with an International reputation and specialists in Cold Water Diving.

And of course the Technical Diving Agencies  like: TDI/SDI Technical Diving International, who also offer sports training, and IANTD, International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers, who where the early pioneers in Nitrox Development and also have Sports diving courses...

With all these and many more choices you need to decide for yourself which agency is the best for your diving education and future diving experience...

We are NOT advocating anyone agency above another, just informing you of the fact that you have many choices!

 ITDA Philosophy

There is a lot more to diver training than just being able to meet a performance objective, i.e. perform a skill to standard... As with many agencies!

The ITDA Group way is to encourage the student to go beyond the standards performance objective in completing skills, and to demonstrate to their instructor that they can do more than just perform a skill. That they can perform the skill to a comfortable level and actually enjoy performing the skills, becoming more than just capable but "Competent"...

Our whole training philosophy is based on the three "C's" principle.

Comfort leads to confidence which in turn generates confidence, and it is confidence that gives us the edge in an emergency, not to panic but to follow our training and procedures... Making for much more competent divers and safer dive buddies...

In addition to all of this we practice skills in shallow water and again at the depth to which we are certified to dive! This means that ITDA Group Divers have more skills and more  confidence than any of the major fast-track agencies.

Summary

ITDA Group Divers really feel that they have earned their certifications because they have worked hard for them and because we offer a more comprehensive diving education from beginner levels, with more training dives, decompression theory, rescue skills training and higher training standards...  ITDA Group "The Future Of Diving".
